The timing of the problem provided an important clue.

The LandCruiser had started smoking after the owner added engine oil. This made checking the oil level one of the first steps in diagnosing the problem.

Our inspection confirmed that the engine contained considerably more oil than it required.

An extra four litres is a significant overfill. The engine needed the excess oil removed before the vehicle returned to normal operation.

What Happens When You Put Too Much Oil in an Engine?

Toyota Air Conditioning Stops After an Hour of Driving

Mobile Car Air Conditioning Perth recently diagnosed a Toyota with an unusual air conditioning problem. The aircon worked normally when the owner first started driving. However, after about one hour, the system would stop producing cold air.
