This Kia needed a car aircon repair in Woodvale after the air conditioning system developed a refrigerant leak. CMM Automotive attended the vehicle at the customer’s location and started testing the system.

Our inspection found refrigerant leaking from the high-pressure Schrader valve. Schrader valves provide service access to the air conditioning system. Although they are small components, a leaking valve can eventually cause the system to lose enough refrigerant to affect cooling performance.

We checked the high-pressure service port closely and confirmed the leak around the Schrader valve. Finding the leak allowed us to repair the actual fault instead of simply adding more refrigerant.
