Today was a interesting day to be a Perth Mobile Mechanic, today we came across a Toyota that had gone way to long without  a full vehicle service and when it all got to bad the vehicle suffered a  motor vehicle breakdown ! When we got there this is what we found and if you look closely you can see the burn mark in the rotor button caused by the vehicles ignition system working way to hard and eventually burning through its components. Today in our travels we were called out to replace a faulty car battery but when we got there we found that the car battery was not the problem it was a seized gearbox [due to lack of vehicle car servicing the gearbox had run out off oil ] so we didn’t bother with the battery we just removed the gearbox for service and repairs . Hi there well today was a very interesting day to be a Perth Mobile Mechanic !!! Today I came across a gentleman who tried to remove some spark plugs from his daughters Holden. This sounds easy enough but these spark plugs had been in the engine for way to long and when he came across number 3 plug which was very tight to remove he stopped and called us to help [smart move] we arrived and accessed the situation and professionally removed the plug and repaired the thread in the cylinder head ,    Grant Payne [Director of Mobile Mechanics Perth ]

We do this with a simple test which is just to put a volt meter across the battery to make sure the battery is being provided with enough voltage to keep the car running correctly

Today was a very interesting day to be a Perth mobile Mechanic ! We were called out to look at a Ford XR6 and when we arrived there we found that the owner had bought himself a device on the internet which would allow him to make changes to his computer but when he plugged it in to his vehicle it wiped his computer causing himself to now have to buy a new one and pay for it to be programmed in! the price for this could be as high as $1500 so be careful when you are thinking about adding devices into your vehicle

Today we came across a Ford muscle car that the owner had fitted an
incorrect master cylinder to it which caused a large amount of damage to the
clutch and flywheel, you may be able to see the cracks and ring wear in the
flywheel from where the clutch has been slipping!

Today we were asked to check out a Hyundai Excel which had just been
serviced somewhere else a month ago and the owner complained of a vibration at low speed and when we looked at the tyres closely we were shocked to see splits running all around the tyres!! [Very dangerous]

Today we came across a poor gentleman that had put incorrect fuel in his Toyota but lucky for him and his Toyota that he didn’t drive to far otherwise he may have ended up with engine damage! We removed the fuel tank and drained and cleaned it and no damage was done , very lucky guy!

Today we have noticed a massive surge in people wanting to get their cars ready for Easter, so we are all working hard repairing air conditioners and sorting out those cooling systems for the long easter trips away.h

This vehicle came in today for a regular service and when we went through
our normal check over we found this screw in one of the tyres! We removed
the screw and fixed the puncture and saved the tyre! The owner was very
happy
