Mobile Mechanic Perth

Today was a great day to be a Perth Mobile Mechanic ,traveling around helping people with roadside assistance, pre purchase inspections and doing all sorts off car servicing and car repairs but the best job was a Nissan in Stirling that had a clunk from the front of the Nissan when it was in four wheel drive ?? So we got out to Stirling to do a vehicle inspection on the Nissan and when we did we found it had a worn lower control arm causing a banging noise [very unsafe] so we left Stirling for suspension parts and returned a hour latter to carry out the car repairs !! When we left the were very happy.

Today was a busy day in the CMM Automotive work shop in Wangara doing all vehicle makes and models ,car servicing and repairs but the one job that stood out was a Holden the came in from Currambine with a steering fault !! The Holden would pull badly to the left when having its car brakes applied ?? When we carried out the usual vehicle inspection to the under body we noticed the sub frame was damaged on the left side and when the Currambine Holden owner hit the brakes the left front wheel would move backwards causing the to pull to the left

Today was a great day to be out doing car servicing and repairs , jump starting cars and trucks, replacing faulty tyres and leaking water hoses but the most interesting job today was a prepurchase vehicle inspection in Midland on a Nissan Patrol ,when we got there I noticed even from a distance that the Nissan had been highly modified !! When started getting in to the prepurchase vehicle inspection we quickly found out that the Nissan Patrol was very unsafe, everything from anti-swaybars been removed to missing steering column bolts that were about to let the steering column fall out !! Very important that when you buy a second hand vehicle to get a pre purchase vehicle inspection

Today it is so important that when you are buying a secondhand motor vehicle to have a prepurchase vehicle inspection carried out , this is a simple exercise that will help you have peace off mind that you won’t be in big financial problems after spending all your hard earned cash on a motor vehicle in bad need off service and repairs

Today was a great day to be out carrying out car and light truck servicing, helping people with roadside assistance all over Perth, We got a call though today to come and have a look at a Nissan in Landsdale with a small oil leak !! When we got there the ladies Landsdale drive-way was covered in power steering oil due to the fact that yesterday the lady noticed a small drop on her drive-way and thought the vehicle repairs could wait another day or so [but it didn’t] The main power steering hose was split right through now and it emptied the power steering tank on to the drive-way !! So the point of the story is if you have a small oil leak today it might be a big oil leak tomorrow so get it looked at !!

Today was a busy day in the workshop for car servicing and car repairs on all makes and models ! We did have a Toyota come in for a car service today which the owner had no idea how unsafe her car tyres were until we took a photo off them and sent them to her !! Have a look at how the canvas is trying to come through ! To be safe you need to have good car tyres but to keep good car tyres you need a good car wheel alignment and this Toyota‘s wheel alignment was way out

Today was a interesting day to be out carrying out motor vehicle servicing and repairs on the road and to make it a bit different again Perth Mobile Mechanics got a call from Wanneroo from a lady that had a smelly Nissan ??? So we went out there and checked over the Nissan for any repairs required like usual and we found a plastic bag had become tangled to the exhaust and melted causing a horrible smell around the Nissan when driving

Today was a great day to be out helping people that required roadside assistance in Perth , Today I had a lady with a Ford Falcon over in Doubleview  that got up and found she couldn’t start her vehicle so she assumed it was a car battery fault so she went to her local store and spent $150 on a new car battery and put it in her Ford Falcon but to her surprise her car still would not start ?? She then called Perth Mobile Mechanics for roadside assistance to help her out ! When we got there we found her Ford Falcon had no spark from her distributor so it couldn’t start ,we replaced the distributor and she was on her way [just a pitty thought she replaced her car battery for no reason]

Today was a great day to be out helping people that required roadside assistance in Perth, today I had three unlucky people with flat car tyres in Scarborough,Yokine and North Perth,  I had a Toyota and a Nissan in Hillarys both with flat car batteries and a Mazda out off fuel in Mindariebut the most interesting job today came from Greenwood where we were called out to a Ford that would not idle and stalls ,when we got there we found the air intake was all split and letting to much air in ,so we fixed the broken pipe and they asked for a full car service while we were there and of we went !! Busy day

These days being a Perth Mobile Mechanic we are finding it more and more common finding vehicles that have car repairs required that are just that little big to be carried out in the owners driveway or where the have called for roadside assistance in a car park so here at CMM Automotive its very handy to have our well set up mechanical workshop running to help out with all the bigger car repairs and servicing , the jobs that would make a mess in your driveway we now tow it for free to the mechanical workshop to make life easy

Today it is more important than ever to be sure that when your buying a secondhand car or looking at buying a second hand car that you must get a pre-purchase inspection carried out by your Perth Mobile Mechanic before you hand over your hard earned cash , there are so many things that can be faulty with the new possible car that can cause it to be a expensive mistake , some previous owners have not had a good car service in some time or the due car repairs have not been carried out [causing more damage] and there are many cars out there which have been abused but if you take the time to have a pre-purchase inspection carried out this could save you $$$$

When we at Perth Mobile Mechanics are travelling around taking care off vehicle repairs and helping out with roadside assistance we seem to come across the same types off car problems that cause the average car owner to be broken down ! These problems are usually flat car batteries,cars run out off petrol and flat car tyres !! There are some car tyres out there that still have a bit off tread on them but if your mechanic that is doing your car service looks closely at your tyres that have been on your car for way to long he may find cracks and splits in them which will cause you to have a flat tyre in the near future

Today was a great day to be a Perth mobile mechanic out travelling around servicing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles whether it be a hot little Hyundai or a towy old Toyota but while we were carrying out a full car service on a Holden with a new oil leak we found the owner was very lucky because when we jacked it up to do the Holden service we found a faulty engine oil filter !!

Today in the workshop we had a couple off Mitsubishi light trucks come in for some truck servicing and repairs, both needed some truck tyres and one had a oil leak which was draining the Mitsubishi‘s sump , when we carried out the  light truck servicing we found a faulty rocker cover gasket !!! We removed the rocker cover gasket and cleaned it up before replacing it with a new rocker cover gasket

Today was a interesting day to be a Perth Mobile Mechanic ! Today we were all over Perth repairing flat car tyres,replacing flat car batteries and repairing leaking cooling systems but the most interesting job was a lady which had brake noise from the rear of her Holden  so CMM Automotive went out there and we carried out our usual vehicle inspection and we found the rear brakes were all rusty due to the family launching their boat down at the boat ramps!!

One of the best things about being a Perth Mobile Mechanic is getting the chance to occasionally work around highly modified cars whether it be for a car service or car repairs and its normal for us at CMM Automotive to take care of your cars suspension requirements today was great because we got a chance to work on a modified offroad race car with 22 inches of wheel travel !  this is quite different because your average normal Hyundai has about 3/4 inches of travel

In the workshop today the guys whilst carrying out general car servicing and all sorts off car repairs we had a car repair to do on a Honda which had nearly caused the owner to loose control and divert off the road ! The Honda owner had called us for roadside assistance but could only patch the vehicle on the spot so we could repair it later in the workshop ! The Honda owner was very happy and even booked it in for a log book service while it was in the workshop

Today was a great day to be a Perth Mobile Mechanic , driving around fixing all sorts off problems with cars which have left the owners needing roadside assistance and also even helping people with log book servicing or standard car servicing, but one lady today was very happy when we were servicing her Toyota and found the reason for her clunking noise every time she went over a curb ! Have a look at the splits in her suspension bushes

Today was a good day for driving around helping people with flat car batteries, some had left their lights on and only needed a car jump start and others needed a car battery replacement but one Mitsubishi I came across with a flat car battery and I noticed had a car battery that was over 5 years old !! Very very lucky to have a car battery last that long with out causing the owner to have a vehicle break down and requiring roadside assistance!!

Today was a great day to be out replacing flat car batteries, lots of people woke up to find their car wont start , but there was one job today that came up and it was a Holden Chev powered race car that needed a special type off car battery and this was a Odisey type off car battery [very special car battery] this battery is very light and has a lot off car battery cranking amps
