Mobile Mechanic Perth

Today was a great day to be a mobile mechanic when we got a call for a mobile mechanic in Woodvale required for roadside assistance so of to Woodvale we went ! When we got there we carried out our usual vehicle inspection to work out why there was a brake warning light on the Toyota’s dash ??? We then found a faulty brake sensor earthing out and causing a warning light to come on

Today was a great day to be a Perth mobile mechanic driving around helping people with roadside assistance for flat car batteries or car jump starts we even had a couple of flat car tyres to fix but the best one was a call for roadside assistance in Yokine for a Mitsubishi that was hard to turn the steering wheel all off a sudden ??? So we went out to Yokine to carry out a vehicle inspection on the Mitsubishi and when we got there we found the power steering belt had broken causing the Mitsubishi to be hard to steer so we did the car repair and the Mitsubishi was up and running again

Today in the CMM Automotive car service center we were working our way through several car services and car repairs when we came across a Toyota that we were doing a logbook car service on which the owner had just purchased secondhand and we noticed a old timing belt sticker that showed the Toyota was due for a timing belt replacement and not just a car service !!! Very lucky we noticed this because if the timing belt had off broken then the Toyota would have needed a car repair for its damaged engine

Today in the CMM Automotive car service center we had all sorts of car servicing and car repairs to get through we even had a Mitsubishi booked in from Woodvale for a car service and the owner requested that we looked for a car fault in the rear where he was hearing a rattle that couldn’t be explained so before the vehicle inspection was carried out we went for a drive with the Woodvale owner and sure enough there was a rattle there from the rear so off we went back to carry out the vehicle inspection only to find a faulty car tyre rack

It is so important these days to get your families car tyres checked , So many people don’t realize that them and their family are travelling around with poor car tyres or even dangerous car tyres and they may not know until its to late and they have a car accident,These car tyres in this picture are dangerous and the owner had no idea they were like it,Make sure when you get a regular car service your car tyres are checked

Today at the CMM Automotive service center we had a Holden in for a car service with a noise when turning and sure enough on the vehicle test drive we did hear a strange noise from the Holdens rear when turning so we headed back to the car service center to do the vehicle inspection and check out the Holdens drive line !! When we got to the rear off the Holden we noticed one CV joint about to fall out !!! Very dangerous

Today we had a call for a mobile mechanic to come out to Warwick for roadside assistance with a Mitsubishi with a bad vibration at 60kms and over so off we went to Warwick to had a look ? When we got there we took the Mitsubishi for a vehicle test drive before we started the vehicle inspection and sure enough at 60kms we found this wheel wobble/vibration so we took it back for the car check over and this is what we found !! The rear right rim was bent

Today in the CMM vehicle service center we had a Holden come in for a standard car service but a complaint was made that the engine has been quite noisy lately and the owner was a bit worried about this and wondered if it required any extra car repairs to get the Holden back to sounding normal again so when we carried out the usual car inspection we paid special attention to the Holdens exhaust system and when we did we found the owner had damaged one exhaust muffler possibly over a high curb or speed hump

Today with so many electrical components running off the vehicles car batteries if your car battery runs down or is not getting a correct alternator charge then these components suffer causing your vehicle to have a car break down or run but not work like it should do , to make sure this doesn’t happen to you you need to get a car service or vehicle inspection every six months or ten thousand kms to have your car battery tested for load and charge

It was a good weekend this weekend to be a Perth mobile mechanic, Helping people with car breakdowns all over Perth some people had got into trouble with flat car batteries and some had flat car tyres but the best one was a call from a gentle requiring roadside assistance in Greenwood for his Toyota which had a brake noise so we went out to Greenwood to do our usual vehicle brake inspection and we did we found the Greenwood gentleman had no rear brakes and they were so bad that they had gone metal to metal and damaged the brake drums ! Very expensive mistake to not have his car service when he should have because it would have saved the Greenwood owner $$$

Today we were over in Tapping doing a car service on a Honda and while we were carrying out our usual vehicle inspection we noticed the fan belt had lots off little splits in it !!!! Very lucky for the Tapping gentleman and his Honda that they got the car service because this fan belt would not have lasted much longer

One off the best things about being a mobile mechanic is being able to help people that require roadside assistance and to get them back on their way , Today we got a call for roadside assistance from a gentleman broken down on the freeway with a flat car tyre !! He had tried to put his spare car tyre on but could not remove the old car tyre ! When we got there we used special tools to remove the flat car tyre and we then fitted up his spare car tyre and off he went on his way

We were carrying out a vehicle inspection to a Mitsubishi van today before the owner went travelling and part off that vehicle inspection is to look closely at the car tyres and this is what we saw on the Mitsubishi RHR tyre waiting to cause the owner a problem on his trip

Today at the CMM car service center we were happily carrying out a car service to a Holden brought in from Warwick and as part of our standard car service we check all tyres for excessive tyre wear and to our surprise we found this big split in the tyre !! Very lucky

Today in the CMM vehicle service center we had a car trailer come in with some faulty trailer wheel bearings which had damaged the car trailers axles ! The car trailer was quite dangerous and lucky nobody was hurt when the trailer tyres fell off so we gave the old car trailer a birthday with new trailer axles,bearings and hubs

Today in the CMM  vehicle service center we had a Holden VE come in with a oil leak that had bothered the owner for some time but when we looked at it we found it was coming from the rear main oil seal which ment removing the transmission to repair it

Today we seemed to have a large number off vehicles with flat car batteries this morning ??? we seemed to be fitting a new car battery after car battery but one job over in Greenwood when we got there we found that the car battery was not that old and the Honda with the fault had been car serviced every time it was due for one ?? When we looked around we found that a childs toy had fallen down and rested on the brake pedal causing it to light up the brake lights and drain the car battery so after we carried out the usual vehicle inspection and removed the toy we jump started the Honda and  10 minutes later the car battery was good again

Today was a interesting day in the CMM Automotive vehicle service center after a long wet weekend and everyone out in enjoying it for what it was ! We had a gentleman turn up from Woodvale with a strange noise every time he used his Fords brakes so we got it in the car service center to take a look and carry out our usual vehicle inspection and when we did we found the Ford had no brakes front or rear and reason being was when the Fords owner from Woodvale was out 4wding on the weekend in the mud some off the mud made it into the brakes and destroyed them

Today was a interesting day to be a Perth mobile mechanic because our day was filled with vehicle pre-purchase inspections and car check overs all over Perth, some pre-purchase inspections were off vehicles that were in great condition and other vehicle inspections were not so great but the one prepurchase inspection was over in Scarborough on a Mitsubishi van which the owner was leaving to head home overseas and just wanted to get rid off the Mitsubishi before he left , the Mitsubishi had all off its log book servicing carried out and had taken care off any car repairs that were due so when we did our full vehicle inspection we were not surprised to find the Mitsubishi express van was a great buy and would be going to a lucky new owner

Today was a great day to be a mobile mechanic in Perth helping people out both north and south off the river but this morning we got a call for breakdown assistance on a Holden in Doubleview , when we got there we carried out the vehicle inspection and check over and found this Holden had a faulty water pump due to poor cooling system servicing ! when we checked the Holden‘s radiator there was nearly no water in it ??? and what there was in the system was dirty and this caused the Holden’s water pump to fail which then caused the engine to over heat !! So we carried out the car repairs and flushed the cooling system and got him on the road again
