During our initial inspection, we found a poor connection at one of the battery terminals. A battery terminal needs a clean and secure connection. This allows electrical current to flow correctly between the battery and the vehicle.

Finding the Cause Before Replacing the Battery
Rather than simply fitting another battery, we checked the battery connections and identified the faulty terminal.
CMM Automotive repaired the battery-terminal connection and then provided the mobile car jump start needed to get the Nissan Pulsar running again. We could then check the vehicle’s charging system and confirm that it was operating correctly.
This is an important part of diagnosing a flat battery. Replacing a battery without checking the connections and charging system could leave the owner with exactly the same starting problem later.
